Me, maybe. I'm thinking about it. Seems like people get results. Being around people who also need to work at getting to their ideal, healthy weight and staying there is growing more appealing. I'm only around my husband (who is the best -- in case he finds my super secret blog) and he leans to the hyperthyroid side of things. If he dieted a little and cut back on wine and beer, he'd be skinny and fast! This is annoying.

Should I go for it or wait until after the holidays like everyone else?

Whether you join or not, start making small improvements now. Make some little changes like eating more veggies, drinking more water, exercizing. If you do decide to wait to join, don't make the rest of December a free for all!
:)
I agree with Lyn. If you choose not to join then focus on one thing to change. Then you won't feel like you've totally blown it.
Thanks for visiting my blog!
Lyn & Tena,
Thanks for the encouragement and suggestions. I'll look into WW but I'll start some new healthy habits. I've stopped having wine with dinner the past three nights and I have a new pedometer. I'm going to walk everyday whether it's on the trail or the treadmill.
You both have inspiring, informative blogs. Thanks!
I'm having great success with The Eat Clean diet & highly recommend it...you can link to it here:

Many of us are finding it easy to follow, the pounds drop quickly, no hunger pains or cravings.
It works for me because I can't stand counting points or calories because that makes me obsessive.
I would give it a try before the year is out to see if you like it.
IMHO :)
Thank You for letting me know about the Wii! I'll get it for myself for X-mas.
Katschi - After Christmas, we can compare notes on Wii fit...see if you like the yoga like I do or if you prefer the balance games (I'm a 'pro' at ski jump he he).
I'm also doing the Eat Clean Diet. I'm actually doing WW, too. The 2 diets are very similar, they're both lifestyle changes rather than restricting you on what types of foods you can and can't eat. Eat Clean is more strict with the kinds of foods, but there are so many healthy foods out there, it's easy to stick with it. I like to stick with WW, though, for the accountability. If it weren't for going and weighing in each week, I'd have no motivation to lose, because then, who would know, except me, if I was gaining or losing, right?
hi Cara,
You bring up a good point -- accountability. I usually go by how my clothes feel but it's time to get real. I'm thinking I might try WW to see if the weekly weighing will help in the discipline and motivation realms.
thanks for stopping by my blog
