back on track

It seems my weight may be drifting down toward the goal weight range ever so slowly. This is with a lot of effort on my part. So, I've been thinking, maybe I shouldn't be so number-on-the-scale focused. I'm doing what I can to address metabolic issues and really, it is what it is. I could focus more on fitness goals and the overall goal of feeling good. Does it really matter if I'm wearing a size 6 pair of jeans or an 8?

I'm feeling pretty good these days and appreciate that I'm able to walk briskly for 6 miles and ride my bike for 30. Maybe it's time to add some yoga to the mix.

For me, the fitness goal works much better than the scale-based goals. I can control the former, but due to metabolics and the position of the planets, I can't control the scale. Plus, fitness goals are more fun and rewarding. :)

As usual, well said, Cammy!

I LOVE this concept!
This sums it all up!
I've lost weight, but I'm not as fit
in some ways as I was before!
Go figure that one!
Getting fit should have been my focus
all along.

There's no reason to check your weight too often. It just depends on how many pairs of trousers you want to buy.
