kindsight

How differently things look and feel a year later. A year ago, my mother in law had just passed away. I had a horrible infected tooth due to a failure of a root canal redo and bursitis in my right hip. And, boy howdy, you can bet I had some "life lessons" to deal with. Anyhoo, I'm grateful for the things I learned but glad to be in a happier period in my life now.

Sugar free in January is over! Didn't really lead to any dramatic weight loss but it did reset my cravings and the creep of refined sugar into my diet, which was the rationale for doing the challenge in the first place. Plus, I have a little boost of confidence for being able to set this goal and achieve it.

February is here...hellooo dark chocolate!

Note: Check out Fitville on facebook.

Impressive, your month sugar free. I could sure use a reset on my sugarometer.

And does chocolate taste different to you now?

I tried a new dark chocolate bar from Trader Joes I had waiting for me. Know something? It was no big deal. So yes, maybe my taste for chocolate has changed. Did you experience that too?

Definitely. I canNOT eat vending machine chocolate, even three months later. I keep tasting the artificial ingredients. I'm told expensive chocolate will still taste good :)
