Woke up early and as the day goes on I feel like I have a cold. You know that feeling. Had plans to ride today but now I'm wondering if that's a good idea after all. Maybe a compromise -- still do the ride but go shorter and not push in terms of speed and avoid the sections with more challenging hills. Can never remember if one is supposed to workout when sick or drink lots of tea and take it easy.

Always a dilemma! I think I've heard if it's a head cold, go ahead & take it easy, but if it's a chesty thing or a flu, skip the exercise and nurse yourself back to health.
Either way, you get to be extra nice to yourself!
I've heard the same as Crabby.
Sometimes if it's a head thing, a little outdoor exercise clears things up for me.
Either way, I hope you feel better soon!
i've tried getting into exercise even while i was having colds. I then became better after I've sweat it out.
