strong legs

Had a great first-ride-of-the-month today. Rode 25 miles but really felt like I could go for a half century. But, alas, my husband was not feelin' it today. Oh well...on our last ride together I actually bonked and was lucky to finish 20 miles. Someday, we'll achieve synchronicity on the bike trail.

 Happy Friday!

Love the graphic!

My friend Talia and I are putting together our quest for our first 50-miler this fall.

Mind if I invite myself along? I wonder how challenging it would be to fly to TX with my bike...

Nice! I ride alone a lot so I don't have the issue of someone else bonking when I'm rarin' to go.

Biking is not only good for our health but also good in gaining companion. It is more fun when biking with the others.

I've really gotten into riding lately. I've enjoyed looking through your blog. I just started my own fitness blog www.imperfectventure.blogspot.com

I need followers to help keep me motivated!

Great job and I love that y'all ride together! My husband is a cyclist and I always feel bad that it's something we don't do as a couple but maybe I'll give it a shot soon!

At least you share your passion with your husband :) That's very important!

How nice of you sharing your passion to your husband and together become healthy.

When it comes down to it, good, old-fashioned hard work is the key ingredient in building yourself a fabulous, strong pair of legs.

Even when I am the most out of shape, I always can count on my legs to be able to start exercising better than the rest of me. Biking or "schlogging" as I call the kind of run I do are my go-to exercises that I love.
PS: The pictures on your site are great!
