I've watched both the frontside and backside dvds and today I'm going to actually try it. Think I'll start with the frontside.
Here's a link to a clip of this dvd. What do you think? Have you had any success working out with a dvd?
I liked this dvd enough to buy it because it truly seems geared to beginners. Jillian also addresses modifications for those of us with knee issues along with ways to amp up the workout as we get stronger.

Another blogger is doing her 30 day shred video and loving it.
I haven't seen this one yet. I'll have to look for it.
Well, that sounds promising! Off I go...
Hi Lee,
I don't watch TV when I treadmill. I crank up the tunes really loud and talk out loud to myself :)
Good for you for 48 minutes! That's alot! 60 minutes flies by now. I don't like to do less. I just go steady at one pace.
I still feel blah. I broke off an online thing with someone that wasn't going anywhere and was bad for me emotionally and I'm feeling grief about this. It wasn't healthy for me but I miss talking to him. I feel like I broke up with someone for crying out loud and I never even met him in the flesh (thank God, really) I'll get over it but I really have to learn to not give in to my emotions so quickly with men. I've never learned :)
So, thanks for asking. I know this was TMI but I'm still feeling emotionally hungover today.
Karen,
You are always welcome to talk about whatever you want here. I like how authentic and honest you are with yourself & others.
I always watch TV while on the treadmill. I caught a great HBO documentary today LeCirque: A Table in Heaven and the day before, I watched some of 28 Days with Sandra Bullock. I'd never seen either of the films before. Both made the time go by quickly. I listen to music when I walk outside. I liked your Bruce Cockburn quote the other day -- one of my favorites.
~smiles~
Don't know anything about this DVD but I trust Jillian and I trust you! ANY activity rocks! WTG on getting up off the couch yet again! :)
Hey Rebecca, thanks for the words of encouragement!
A super fit trainer once told me, even a half a** effort of a workout is better than no workout at all.
Having something to watch and distract you from the fact that it hurts abit is great. Good luck, keep moving.
