Monday, Monday

Monday Monday, can't trust that day,
Monday Monday, sometimes it just turns out that way*

What a week it's been. I'm with Charlie, thankfully no chocolate holidays for awhile! It wasn't chocolate that did me in, however. It was a big steak with melted Stilton cheese on top, giant baked potato, a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon, roasted broccoli, and a slice of cheese cake (there were two but at least we shared only one -- but, and this is a big but, the other piece is in the refrigerator!). Geebus.

The scale doesn't lie, my friends. My antics this week (lack of exercise & not drinking enough water & the blow out take-no-prisoners V Day dinner) have resulted in this outcome: 155.2. I'm up one pound from last week. It is what it is. I'm now off to get my rear in gear.

I hear you! I kind of backslid on the eating this week ... but I kept up with exercising. I find that I never do BOTH -- if I exercise, I treat myself (thereby undoing any good I achieved) and if I eat good, I tend not to exercise. I've got to get these two together!!!

Meal sounds yummy though! And at least it was only a pound! Just get back on track and keep going!

It was a great tasting meal but too much. I couldn't finish it and didn't feel that great afterward. :(

You're so right about getting the two pieces together. Yesterday, I ate well but didn't exercise. Day before (after my encounter with the scale) I ate well and did an hour at a higher speed on the treadmill. I can do it! Need to work on increasing the days when I do both. I think I'm going to do much better with the eating part this week. Feels like I've turned the corner or something.
