Actually, it's more akin to what our favorite tour guide in London, Allen said, "This is not a dream; this is reality." He was referring to the beauty and splendor of London but in a witty way that I can't convey. I'm using a title of a
Joni Mitchell song to write a post about byka's first flat tire. Not a dream -- but an unfortunate reality bite in the arse. On the plus side, it happened at the very beginning of my ride.
I really want to get a ride in today because the weather is so perfect. Alas, both bike shops here in Podunkville are closed on Sundays. This is going to require some creative problem solving...
Hope you're enjoying the day by doing something active.

I'm so sorry you had a flat! I attended a clinic on how to change my own bike tires last year, but I've long since forgotten how to do it. :)
Here's hoping you're on the road again very soon!
Oh, no! What a bummer! Do you have a patch kit? I have one around here somewhere but have yet to learn how to change or patch a tube. Chewing gum? I've also heard you can use a folded dollar bill to put in between the tube and tire if the tire is rough.
Hope you get to ride! Love your blogs new look! Pee Wee always makes me laugh.
Perfect weather? It is too hot to even breathe here, let alone bike ride during day light. I am only slightly exaggerating. :-) I hope you were able to fix your flat and get your ride in Lee.
Bummer!!!!!!!!!!! Get out soon! I know you will! :-)
Sorry about the flat. Glad you weren't stranded though! I'm so happy you got an ipod too! Makes all the difference in the world for me!
So glad you're enjoying good weather - we've had rain a week straight and won't see the sun til Thursday. Bummer about the flat.
Love your new header photo. It's a beauty! Great quote too.
