parsley, sage, rosemary & thyme

I've probably crammed way too many little herbs into this one clay pot. Here's the starting line up:

Sweet Basil
Cilantro
Sage
Italian Parsley
Chives
English Thyme
Greek Oregano
and a decorative Lavender

Spent a good portion of the afternoon trimming the rosemary back. We have a lot. I've washed my hands a couple times but they still smell like rosemary. I like it.

I can't keep my hands out of the rosemary either. It's almost a habit that I run my hands through it every time I go out into the garden. If I could only grow one pot of stuff, it would be full of herbs. I can't believe I went for years without.

Beautiful Lee!

Until a few years ago, I thought of herbs and spices as a luxury, but I now see them as a neccesity. It's a real bonus that they are so rich in nutrients!

Yummm! I love fresh herbs and I need to get myself a pot like yours started up. Living in an apartment, I think I'd try to cram the most in that I could, just like you did :)

Can't wait to see how you use them in your food! Like I said before, I kill cactus so not going to try this but I will live vicariously thru your herbs!
